Mobile Library: Detroit Public Library

Our shipping container is a space for people of all ages and abilities to learn. It has 24 hour access to Wi-Fi and provides security to the entire neighborhood. 

This mobile unit will connect Detroit neighborhoods to their local Detroit Public Libraries.

Our design intent for the shipping container is to bring together communities and allow connection through a common goal of education. This satellite mini branch, promotes inclusiveness for all different types of learning styles creating a space that is accessible to all. Our proposed space is designed with flexibility in mind and brings many opportunities for different programs to be held within the space.
